Les Collines Vineyard Syrah

Jeff is making some serious Syrah from one of the best vineyards in WA state. Drinking spot on right now.

Nose: cola, jam berries, cinnamon, rose
Taste: well balanced, long finish (for a 2014). Paired well with wagyu steak

Aging beautifully. They still have some for sale too, snatch it up people!

On a bit of a W.T. kick lately. The 13 is tasting stunning right now! So much character, absolutely great on its own.

This vintage is coming into its own right now. Could still use a little extra time in the bottle but if you can’t wait, it is drinking nicely now.

Oh mama is this good right now. Love that Jeff posted a chart on their site about drinking windows. Would have happily drink this whole bottle by myself.

Still as delicious as ever. Smooth, dark fruit, nice little kick at the end. Lovely.

This one knocked my socks off, was not expecting it to taste this good 7 years later. Lots of vanilla on the nose for some reason. Very smooth on the palate with some lovely pepper notes on the back end. Impressed.

Had this over the course of two nights and it just kept getting better. Well done Jeff, well done.

Fantastic vintage of this wine. Drinking really well right now. One of my favorite Syrahs.
