Was expecting this to be sweet and nowhere near a cab. Very pleasantly surprised because their other varietals are typically a miss

Kind of thin, still pretty sweet and jammy but dry finish. Mostly fruit forward with some lingering woody flavors. It’s ok, was $5.50 on sale at Costco.

Decent sipper but none of the depth one might hope for. Blackberry jam notes, definitely more of a pounder than a food wine.

Smells like blackberry yogurt, cherries, toffee, vanilla, baking spices. Dry, medium acidity, medium tannins. Smooth and velvety, with gentle berries and chocolate. Decanted for 30 minutes.

Ok Cab Sauv to have with pizza.

Medium bodied, fruit forward with an oak lingering finish.
