Prairie Fume Seyval Blanc

Just a touch off dry. Bit of funk on the nose, citrus fruit, honeyed and approachable. Nice acid, but I’m pretty sure it was added. With food, I’m a fan.

10% alc/vol from Wisconsin

I am on the fence. I generally dislike sweet wines, but this is tasting okay with a really intense Gouda. The specs: Only 10% alcohol with an absurdly sweet front palate that folds into decent fruit.

Intriguing cool climate French #hybrid (50% Vitis vinifera; 37% Vitis rupestris; 13% Vitis licencumii ), grapes from NY, bottled in Wisconsin. #halbtrocken, nice sweet-acid balance

Crisp. Some mineral taste. Nice balance of sweet and tart. Has a tart/fruity finish. Starting to be more green apple as I drink more.
