Wölffer Estate
Red Letter Long Island Red Blend

Aromas of black cherries and raspberries, cassis, oak, and a bit of damp earth. Medium body, vibrant acid, with a savory, long finish. More Bordeaux than Napa. 13.3abv A balanced, well made wine with pleasing concentration and structure, which definitely bodes well for the long run.

Jul 7th, 2014Another benefit to visiting the Northeast. Really nice, savory, w/fine silky tannins. Tastes somewhere between Washington and Bordeaux Franc without brett, but is 70 Merlot, 25 CabSauv, 5 Verdot. $17.
