Wm. Harrison Vineyards & Winery (William Harrison)
Rutherford Rosé of Cabernet Sauvignon
@Mark Flesher pulled this out to complement my Chardonnay. Haven’t had many rosés of Cab...think Montagu may be the only other one I’ve had? First note I got was watermelon jolly rancher. Very distinct. This rosé has nice acidity and a LOT of flavor. Not as crisp as a Rosé of Pinot, but the cab gives it nice structure...strawberry preserves, watermelon, kiwi. Thanks for sharing Mark!

May 25th, 2018Umm... yeah..... so the last one of these I had didn't seem to be THIS good. I'd incite a riot if I gave this one what I really wanted to give. What a massive bouquet and palate of strawberry puree, crushed rock, pomegranate. Not too acidic. Rather full and viscous for a Rose.....aaaaand it's my last as well.

Aug 16th, 2018@Delectable Wine this is the Rose of Cab, 2016. It was not in the database. First of three popped one day after delivery!! Not a bad little Rose at all and definitely made in a deeper, full bodied style. Definitely worth the money paid, if not worth more. This is the first of their Rose of Cab that I've had (I think the first production was 15 and before that was Rose of Pinot). This wine definitely shows. Has a nice Watermelon Jolly Rancher nose and palate. Very viscous towards the middle. Not a lightweight. More of a poolside sipper than patio pounder Rose. I am glad that I have 2 more of these, but would prefer to have a case now that I know the character of this one!
