Unscrew and pour. Such a satisfying drink: inexpensive and so refreshing on a hot day. On the nose: this shows denser than previous btls, with loads of limestone, ripe lemon, soft green herbs. On the palate: fantastic acidity, lemon, lime, crushed rock, excellent density and a lovely tangy lime finish. Glad I have plenty more as this is so satisfying.

Aug 27th, 2020Ok, this is a faaaaantastic btl of riesling for the price, assuming you like high acid and very mineral wines. On the nose: lime, lime flower, a touch of yeast, a very Wittmann nose, with a touch of mineral. On the palate, amazing acidity, more lime, salt and mineral notes. This doesn't have the density or texture of the GGs, but it's pretty damn good.
