Apple, pear, pineapple, very slight vanilla / medium body, medium to med+ acidity / slightly round on the palette - not stark or austere / orchard fruit on the palette; leans tropical on the finish

This has something for the casual drinker and a lot for the wine geek.

Tried a few German ones yesterday. This was the most interesting of the bunch. Bone dry, nice acidity, great mouthfeel. Really enjoyed the mid palate on this.

I really dig this wine. Third time tasting it and I don't think I'm done with it.
Chalk, a tiny citrusy touch on the nose but it's not very aromatic. The palate is wide and long, with a good acid drive, some of this chalky mouthfeel, some citrusy notes on the side, with some discreet white peach touches, a bit of grip in the rear before a long, fresh, no let's put it this way, refreshing finish that goes on for a very long while. It's probably the best Pinot blanc I have ever tasted. It's very well made 👌🏻

4th wine of my birthday blind tasting. I found the right country but not the right varietal 😅.
Very flinty nose, hay, white flower, a bit of lemon zest too which is what tipped me off I think (I thought it was a German riesling). There was a bit of co2 upon opening too which is one more reason for me calling it a riesling blind.
The palate is clearly not that of a riesling, now that I now, but hey 😁. Long and bright palate with some width, some very vivid mouthfeel, some grip, a tiny touch of lemon zest. The grip is tightening in the rear and powers up a long, fresh, subtly zesty finish. This is a good one!

Edit. The wine opened after an hour or so and some nice underlying peachy and peary notes popped on the palate, making it delicious. One more point
