Blanc de noir from Germany 🇩🇪 a cheap one, that is. The nose is strawberry and cream, chalk, white flowers, a bit of a minty thing. The palate is surprisingly bland, with little acid drive, some strawberry and cream notes, some tannins in the rear, some bitterness that carries on until the end. It's too simple, it's too round, and it lacks an acid bite and that zing to make it great. Not bad at all, but far from being super exciting.
