Pineapple, citrus (yuzu), a tiny mineral note like chalk. Ok... This is not what I would have associated with that varietal. The palate is well done with a huge acid backbone that carries everything in its wake, some citrusy note here and there and a bit of white pepper, a good width with almost an RS feeling, and a very long finish with that citrusy note which turns slightly bitter as if it were zesty. Not what I expected, not impressive but went well with smoked salmon.

Jun 3rd, 2021White peach, elderflower, spices like white pepper or even cinammon (?!) on the nose. The palate is fresh with white peach again and a strong acid backbone with a touch of residual but not enough to make it semi dry. Nice texture and short finish. Satisfying, rather pretty good white polish wine.
