Mr. Spittoon and I recently stopped by Windy Creek in the Swan Valley to try through the range, as you do. This $12 2016 Chardy went down a treat so naturally we walked out with a few bottles - and who wouldn’t at that price!

It’s a lip licking yellow colour on the eye. Melon, subtle creamy oak, lemon 🍋 and a sprinkling of white pepper cone through on the nose. In the mouth it’s juiciness quenches the thirst with wonderful vibrant flavours of peach 🍑 and nectarine. Great sundowner wine!

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #tcweekdaywine

We picked up this $12 Chardy directly from the cellar door in the Swan Valley. Windy Creek's cellar door has had a recent makeover which is definitely worth checking out ->

It's a clear white gold colour on the eye with creamy melon and a touch of florals and lemon rind coming through on the nose. That melon continues onto the palate - it has a very crisp and fresh flavour. A $12 quaffer done right.
