I gotta say this is hands down the best PQR. Purchased for $9 and no where near peak. Decanted for 30 min and probably could use more time. Super aromatic blackberries and violets. Blackberries, plum, lavender, and leather. Excellent! Have had several vintages and all are great!

Dec 4th, 2020Wow! Decanted for 30 minutes and still very primary. Plum, Black cherry, smoke, and violet. Still fairly tannic and needs more time. Got a steal on this for $9. Highly recommend

Color of mix of orange, grapefruit, and ruby, quite light and clear. Nose of concentrated aldehyde, crayon, black pepper, oak, a bit plummy, and hint of strong alcohol. Taste follows the nose, with addition of nice strawberry, ripe grapes, and savory powerful tannins. Aftertaste is long with more black pepper, nice subtle sweetness, long and really savory.
