Fruity nose of blueberries, cherries, sweet strawberries, wood, vanilla, light barnyard, earth, graphite, leaves, licorice, spices and black pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and long legs.
Dark and fruity on the palate with plums, cherries, strawberries, currants, green vegetables, herbs, earth, coffee and peppercorn.
Medium plus in finish with soft tannins and tangy cranberries.
Here's another surprise. This Pinot Noir is inexpensive, but drinking very nicely now, as a 4 year old. Well balanced with mild complexity and a nice mouthfeel.
Good right out of the bottle and good with food or by itself. I paired it with good friends and nice conversations.
