Dark purple in color with a purplish /ruby rim.
Fruity nose of blueberries, currants, plums, camp fire smoke, oak, vanilla, metals, black pepper, spices and chocolates.
Medium bodied with medium acidity and nice legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with currants, cranberries, cooked strawberries, spices, pencil lead, black pepper, coffee, chocolates, vanilla, wood and tobacco.
Medium finish with medium minus tannins and tart cherries.
A nice everyday Cabernet Sauvignon from the Central Valley in California.
Simple, balanced and drinking nicely now. Not one for long term aging, though. Nice acidity at the ending makes it interesting to drink by itself or with food.
14.2% alcohol by volume.
