How many of you can say your state grows its own grapes and bottles its own wine? Texas can! Love supporting local producer. Soft cherry colored in the glass. Cocoa dust, dirt and cinnamon nose followed by subtle drying texture on the sip flashing more cinnamon notes, bitters and schist. Slight acidic with medium tannins. Faint finish showing a glimpse of anise and mineral. 72% Merlot, 24% Cab, 3%Malbec and 1% Petit Verdot. 100%Texas fruit.

Sep 14th, 2016This blend has fruit, spices (some cinnamon) a light weight on the tongue. At 7 years old it still has some tannin that shows it could last another 2 years. Invitees taste after taste. Drank it with steak and with red fish. Enjoyed in both cases.
