On the Lawn at Tanglewood this afternoon with the Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra, the youths (mostly college)! Our conductor Andris Nelsons is leading one operatic work from WAGNER (Die Walküre, Act II & III). This is our WAGNER weekend with the BSO, Act I was performed last night.
Still in love with the beautiful golden color of this wine!
The nose has light petrol, baked green apple, honey and mashed, ripe apricot. The palate is mouth-filling, apricot jam with honey, baked green apple, slate drizzled with honey, and possibly a hint of white flowers. Finish is so long and awesome.
These bottles are still continuing to improve, could easily see 2027-32+

Kicking off the weekend...
The most golden color Riesling I've poured into a glass in a very long time, the color of a few month old cut hay.
The nose is so petrol (yum) with baked green apple, and a sweet note I can't quite pin yet.
The palate is mouth-filling, the sweet baked apple flavor is front and center, slate drizzled with honey, and possibly a hint of white flower. Finish is long, with just a touch of acidity remaining.
