Smell and taste start off almost astringent and acidic but the flavors mellow quickly and become more balanced with sweet berry notes. Surprisingly versatile: paired well as a sipping wine with salty chips, deviled eggs, cheddar and apples, and even dark chocolate and vanilla shortbread. I guess you could say it’s a snacking wine!

My go to Ted table wine. Let it age a several years. Can be found at Costco for ~$8 a bottle when on sale.

Suspiciously deep colour for a Pinot Noir. Straightforward fruit flavour minimal elements of spice. Definitely drinkable but ordinary. Probably won't buy again.

Hood Pinot. Pleasant engagement at the nose. Potentially a little acidic. Good wine to anticipate the downside of the week with not too heavy a dinner.
