Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Smooth, fruity

OK more cursive. Not cool. This is a lush and likable red. Not a Cab for people who want Cabernet Sauvignon. Too New World. It’s just boring is all.

Kinda a late nineties label. Color is nice, font no so much. Pours dark and deep. Smells vaguely of some berries. Flavors are fruit forward. Opulent. Bit of sagebrush and mineral oil helps keep this restrained. It could be a bit more, but at the price point it’s fine. All American Cab.

Way too sweet and not earthy enough given it’s from Washington

Too grapey smooth and flavorful just too much fruit forward and ending.

Not my favorite cab.

Described as balanced and round, this Cabernet Sauvignon has soft tannins, and is soft on grapes too. Drinkable but not what I expect from this grape.
