Paso Robles Blaufränkisch

This is a nice varietal - light cherry fruit with balanced blend of acidity and tannin

This is my first of this varietal and I find it with moderate tannins crisp acidity and sour cherry with a medium plus finish. Looking forward to trying some Fingerlakes Lemberger to compare

2014 - excellent

Pretty tasty when it opens.

Interesting to try a Blaufrankisch from Paso Robles! More fruit, less earth and spice ... Shows sense of place
