Sweet baby Jesus this wine is good! Found it at a local wine tasting. The smell alone makes my mouth water; it’s highly fragrant with ripe red fruit on the nose. It’s tart and strongly reminiscent of cranberries and tart red cherries; remarkably jammy. I could easily drink the whole bottle.

If you're really in the Montepulciano mood, this probably isn't for you, but it's very drinkable. If you drink it blind, I bet you think it's a Syrah.

One of my favorite wine producers in the area. This was spot-on with notes of mushrooms.
