Nice heady, slightly complex aroma with some funky cold medina on it. Flavor hits ya with a bit of syrupy fruit and tad too much oaky-ness. Black licorice, smoke and asphalt on the finish helps it retain some character. It’s not too bad overall. Well within the cheap WA merlot parameters.
