Hands down the best cab I've ever owned, with layers of bold and complex flavors. The aromas bring back memories of hot, dry northern California evenings picking sweet, ripe blackberries covered in dust with floral smells of violet vanilla hanging in the air. On the palate beginning with pungent blackberry waves that are quickly curbed by tart black current, is a robust cab layered with notes of velvet, vanilla, peppercorns and smoothed by an okay finish. The strong tannins have allowed this wine to age majestically!! Great job Cynthia Klock!
