Who says white wines don’t age? They never tasted Wellington Marsanne. After 17 years, still tastes great.

Better than a white wine this old should be, thanks to Peter Wellington and his unparalleled skill with Rhône style wines, both red and white.

This came in a mystery case from wine.woot. The mystery is how a Marsanne with this much age could be this good. After 11 years in the bottle, it had turned a lovely deep amber, and was simply perfect. It turned a routine weeknight meal of leftover kielbasa and pierogies into a feast fit for a king. Wish we could get more.
