Mülheimer Sonnenlay Brut Riesling

Refreshing and waxy all at once. Needs some funky cheese, but worked well to cleanse the palate after Syrah too.

Tasty but lacking the intrigue I would expect from bubbly Riesling.

Crisp, clean and refreshing. A perfect way to start the day.

Light and slightly sweet. Not too woody. The perfect way to start thanksgiving dinner

eye: very lively bubbles, faint gold hue i think? (not great lighting)

nose: distinct Riesling aroma even if more faint, relatively sweet green apple note

palate: sweet lime citrus, medium-high acidity, relatively fine bubbles, minerality is very present, great finish

overall: really enjoyed this wine, but some of that may be the novelty of a sparkling Riesling

Spicy on the nose and palate; medium bodied and crisp

Ate w sushi at toro. Sweeter bubbly good for countering the weirdo spicy sushi we had. Probably too heavy for me to finish a full bottle lol

Very light, nice acidity, a bit woody/dry. Wouldn't age this any longer.
