Comparative tasting tonight : a 2021 dry polish riesling against a 2021 dry german one.
well, unfortunately there is no match... Lemon zest, chalk, wet stone, a bit of a petroly thing too. This one is unmistakably a german riesling on the nose. The palate is creamy, zesty, lemony, grippy and shows a bit of a chalky mouthfeel too. What's not to like in basic, dry, German Rieslings like this one? The finish is zingy, electric, tense and salivating. Right up my alley. Great effort. Sorry Poland 🤩
