100% Schiava from Alto Adige. Wild strawberries, fruit, cherries. Nice bitterness like Dolcetto. Biodynamic. Indigenous yeast. 24 months in wood, 6 in bottle. Nonfiltered. Vineyards are 60-70 years old, cellar is more than 700 years old. Excellent example of Schiava. 12.5% abv. Fantastic with mushrooms! Roscioli wine club.

Petit monde import. Very tannic. Natural wine. Almost too acidic and tannic at end of bottle for me. I have never had a wine past it’s prime but I’m wondering if I got to this bottle too late. 2016 drank in 2021?

White cherry, red currant, rose water, tobacco, almond tart bitterness like marzipan (similar to Dolcetto) , high acidity. Paired great with steak, mushrooms and fontina asparagus. Biodynamic, large oak casks, non-filtered, natural yeasts, old vines.
