Meddersheimer Altenberg Kabinett Riesling

Drink it all night long. Just off-dry. Petrol-honey nose. Bruised fruit of all sort palate. Hint of savory herbs. Drink it all night and all day.

Star bright gold. Flinty apple and white peach on the nose, echoed on the palate with firm, mouth watering acidity wrapped in a rich (especially for a Kabinett) medium body. This is a German that should satisfy everyone from newbies to bona fide wine geeks. A bit too bright for really spicy food, but a friend to pretty much anything else.

Bright gold with green glints. Flinty apple and ashen white peach on the nose and palate. Zinging acidity with a bit of a spritz. Somewhat rich for a Kabinett which is why I like it.

Peaches, tangerines & stone - what more could you want! Too easy to drink!

We opened this one too. Very different from the last Riesling, but both delicious and pairing well with our rich snack choices.

Acidity is there but still overly sweet.

For a Riesling this is very nice. Not too sweet and goes with curry very nicely.
