1995; Decanted ~4H. Golden straw color in the Gabriel Glas.
Nose has over-ripe peach, dehydrated apricots, salted honey, limestone paste, faint orange marmalade, damp white pepper and fresh (blanched) peach peel (make some peach jam and you'll know this aroma).
Palate has apricot juice, warm clementine flesh, orange zest, dried lemon, candied orange and dehydrated peach.
Wow, wow, wow, such a fantastic bottle!
As noted by others, it seems like there was high bottle pressure on these '95 Kabi's, my first Ludes leaker. Probably at about low shoulder before I realized; cork was solid but spent the last ~6wks standing up in preparation for today.
Our local Stoat (Short-tailed Weasel) arrived this afternoon, it's been a while since the last appearance and I happened to have my phone handy; a picture is worthy!
