Very solid pinot for the price - and the extra third of a bottle doesn't hurt

This is my first German Pinot Noir. Really pretty light color. Herbal up front and kind of game-y on the finish. Delicious!

Like many of the German Pinots I've tried, this is very streamlined, with minimal traces of suis bois, spice, and cola. Grape sour candy.

Wine tastes like unsweetened sparkling soda. Even after decanting for an hour we had a bitter Pinot Noir sparkling wine

Amicable, yes. A friendly pour, we sat and conversed and agreed on many a thing; sports, family, vacation plans, et cetera. And while such innocuous mundanity could impugn no malcontent neither could these contrite trivialities warrant themselves noteworthy in any particular way. I remain impacted by breadth more than content. A fine fellow, but not one to stir my dreams.

Great Pinot Noir from Pfalz! Spicy and a bit of mushroom! Beautiful texture!
