Fairly tannic, almost gritty. Dark purple. Had decent sweet fruit showing through nevertheless. A bit too much "grip" for me; almost overpowered the lamb I had it with.

We enjoyed this wine at lunch . Smooth and easy to drink . Nice flavor . 14 % alcohol. Delicious lunch we had white asparagus and spinach dumpling
