Full bodied and rich but not too syruppy, dry with dark fruit and oaky bitterness, solid amount of tannins and long finish. Good pick for a bolder wine that's dry but still notable fruity flavors. I like it for the price, nice change of pace from the usual lighter bodied wines I drink.
