Not as bright and dry as I would expect, but with a rich undertone and remarkable complexity for a Sauvignon Blanc

Nose: Boldness and finesse meet harmoniously here. Oak flavour (but not overwhelming), smocky flavours, pleasant minerality, vanilla, tobacco. Intense and manly and robust, it nevertheless preserves elegance.
Palate: Great finesse and silky velvet texture. Very dry and quite complex with smoky flavours and great minerality. Citrus, lime, ripe grapefruit, all with good acidity. Good complexity and balance overall.
