Dark ruby in color with a short purplish rim.

Sweet nose of cooked cherries, black currants, sweet strawberries, black plums, dried figs, alcohol, leather, spices, cloves, wood, graphite, coke and peppercorn.

Full bodied, rich and bold, with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Sweet on the palate with sweet cherries, blackberries, figs, raisins, wood, vanilla, milk chocolates, tobacco, spices, mocha and peppercorn

Long finish with soft tannins and tart cranberries.

This port is well balanced with ample acidity to balance the sugar. A very smooth and velvety mouthfeel, with nice complexity.

Very enjoyable by itself or with sweet desserts. A little too sweet for me, though. I paired it with Caramel Flan.

19% alcohol by volume.

I am really trying to like port but I'm just not there yet. I can't get past the syrupy/liqueur texture to it. Tasted like old dark raisins and syrup. One day I will like port!

Strawberries and raisins on the nose, sharp yet sweet and lots of red berries on the palate. Yum!! Missing Portugal πŸ‡΅πŸ‡Ή

Very interesting and complex aromas: cacao, coca-cola, toothpaste, herbal, caramelized onion, and different berries. Wine has good medium+ acidity and also complex taste with licorice, cola and caramel notes.
