First encounter with Von Strasser and loved every minute of it - elegant bright cherry nose with supple tannins rounding out the mouth. The age was perfect, showing red fruit, minerality, and a distinctly stoney 'cellar funk' that rocks (no pun intended.) fabulous night.. 93+

From 2010 visit to von Strasser. Drank 12/15/2018 with Walter Michael. Decanted. Lots of crystalline sediment. Past prime lacking structure but great bouquet. Soupy sweet full.
