Really nice cab. Started with sour cherry, then opened to lack cherry with hint of pepper. Finally fully opened (around 45 minutes) to lush blackberry, hints of coffee and nice slight pepper finish. Very nice and delicious with filet mignon.

A pleasant surprise find at a restaurant, at suggestion of the owner. This 100% cab did not disappoint. From the Spring Mountain district of Napa, this wine had fruit forwardness of blackberries, a little of that black pepper spice hiding in the back, and had a nice chocolate toffee finish. It went well with the chocolate dessert we had with dinner.
