Great mix of fruit and spice, 2014 vintage and still too much astringency for my taste. Whether now or a year down the line this wants food. Preferably something smokey, saucy and on the BBQ.

Boozy nose but it turns into a pleasant cherry with a silly mouthfeel. I love Primitivo and this is a score for California produced Primitivo.
