I learned from the last time I had this, and let it decant for about 4 hours before drinking. Great example of Cabernet based Bordeaux. Lots of oak on this one. Full-bodied, powerful, with just enough tannins to pair beautifully with red meat.

Apr 30th, 2016Killer nose. Like walking through an old cabin. Earthy, woody, faintly oxidative. Heady. But like most young, inexpensive Bordeaux, it's a bit rough on the palate. Tight, tannic, and underripe. I will wager, though, that in another 5-10 years when this has softened, it will be much more approachable.
