Mean, lean, light bright green..lemon, lime, tart orange notes on the nose... no hint of reduction, no oak. The wine is acid/forward, with tart Granny Smith and hard, nearly ripe pear. Light in body...I think the wine will pick up weight as it warms. So very far from Cali butterball (read:sweet)...the wine demands food to fly! ATTN: if you’re not buying and appreciating cold climate Willamette Chards....you’re sleeping! WAKE UP, y’all!
