Smells a little funky. Burnt chocolate chip cookies & berry cobbler. Hint of mountain forest as well. Color is deep, dark and imposing. Flavor is awesome. Black cherry, licorice, graphite, plum sauce, it’s got it all. Tart smack and tannic chewy. Not infinitely deep nor extra complex, but at $4 at Grocery Outlet I did get it, ‘for a song’. WA is such a great value in wine these days...
