"Odedi"

Red ruby in color with a light purplish rim.

Earthy nose with cherries, strawberries, plums, wood, forest floor, sweet candy and light peppercorn.

Medium bodied and not abrasive and pretty balanced.

Dry on the palate with plums, cherries, tart strawberries, wood, vanilla, pencil lead, tobacco, spices, forest floor, licorice and white pepper.

Medium plus length on the finish, with tangy, soft tannins.

This Washington state, Wahluke slope, Barbera was nice enough to pass the time with, in the Philadelphia airport.

13.5% alcohol by volume.
