A little surprised at the low-8 ratings on this. A very smooth, mello vintage with no bitterness or strong acid finish. A good selection for having just a glass - no need to pair.

It has taken all I have to not "unwrap" the bottle from the burlap! Chilean Cabernet... Has lots of spice to it, almost like a Carmenere. Definitely mellows out after it opens up over time.
