Bright red and blue fruit, clary sage, thyme, black licorice with a velvet mouthfeel and lingering finish. a bit of a "late bloomer" in that it starts subtle, but develops well and has such an understated yet elegant finish. drinks like a european--not Napa--wine. a solid wine for its price point.

Trying again. Dark color with a ruby edge. Smells like cranberry sauce and fresh elderberries. Flavors are bright and juicy. Blueberry and pomegranate juice. Plenty of tannin. Very dry. Finish is short and simple. This works. Pleasant red wine. Still not something extraordinary. Just good/alright red.

Plain label. Dark. Smells like mineral oil and brandy. Flavors are pretty boring. Hint of plum sauce. Not in the grape soda style of many cheap Argentine Malbecs. This is alright. Nothing to write home about.
