Gloria Reserva Douro Red Blend

Très bon portugais!

Un peu trop fruité à mon goût. Le 2016 était meilleur!

Correct… pas cher. Terreux en bouche, un peu plus sucré.

2019 vintage. 40% Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo), 30 % Touriga Nacional, 30 % Touriga Franca (French Touriga).
Hand harvested and aged 12?months in oak barrels.
Nose of plums, vanilla and cinnamon.
Really smooth with ripe red fruit, plums, raspberries, chocolate and vanilla with round tannins.
Give me some lamb or grilled steak.

Very good wine. First duoro region. Black current. Very oaky. Ends cool like tar. Balanced all the way through. Not alot of acditic.

Smooth. Tannins at the end.

Nice Portuguese red. Good value.

Really interesting red blend. All three grapes were new to me. Good Costco find for $12

Some lighter herbaceous notes on the nose with a touch of pepper and cassis. The tannins are soft and subtle here, but present enough to get the job done. Finishes with a chocolate note.
