Wow, best VQA red ever. A 2009 vintage being drank on Xmas 2015 it's no wonder. Absolutely smooth and complex with an unusual strong late alcohol finish that has a hint of tanins typical of the region but delicious. Some smokiness and leather finish are also noticeable with black current or cherry mixed in. Magnificent wine!!
