Dark ruby in color with a purplish rim.

Nose of blueberries, black currants, wood, earth, eucalyptus, forest floor bell pepper, vegetables, asparagus, spices, dirt, wet rocks and black pepper.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate with plums, black currants, cassis, earth, light vanilla, tobacco leaf, black tea, spices, earth, vegetables, bell pepper, cloves, pencil lead, forest floor, peppercorn and bitter herbs.

Medium on the finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cranberries.

This Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon is not fully balanced anymore, but showing nice complexity and is still interesting. This was probably better last year.

Very earthy and better with food. I paired it with Cheeses, olives, capers and cured meats.

Needed 3 hours to open up properly.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

85 points.

$5.

For $5, pretty darn tasty. Good complex flavors with spice and without too much sweetness

Not my favorite. It mellowed after a couple of days, but you can do better

Strong taste doesn't taste strong in alcohol. Would be pefect with lamb or cheese. Not an aperitive wine.

Not terrible but I’ve had much better at the next higher price point.
