Extraordinary depth and elegance. A great bottle of wine and the first Contino. A rare treat for any wine lover. Compares to great Gran Riserva Rioja from 59 and 52. Shows the faster maturation of the newer style but at my age I'm happy to get to this greatness as quickly as possible. Bravo!!

First vintage produced - tasted twice in a month with very little bottle variation (both brought from the cellar) - still some sweet structure, tannins soft but holding very well, very lapsing souchong
