Apr 23rd, 2020This wine is a real kick. Very pink grapefruit for a Riesling but great acidity and balance. Probably drink this young.

The only bottle we brought back from Chile. Tastes like a glass full of olives. Best Riesling I have tasted.

Lago Ranco Riesling 2017
Young with lots of primary aromas of green fruit (apple, lime) and a slight peach aroma.
Mix in a wiff of plastic (think clare valley) some sea salty-minerality a crisp, young acidity dosed with a very slight sweetness makes this an excellent companion to food (anyone for ceviche?).
Very young, but still enjoyable now.
