We picked this up on a visit to Vinchio in 2016 and lugged it home in our suitcase (with stops in 5 Terre, Tuscany, and Rome). We opened it up Christmas Eve 2022 and let it breathe for a little over an hour. It’s quite nice. Orange-garnet color. Well-structured with medium tannins. Notes of tobacco, plum, vanilla, and a little peppery in the middle.
