An offer from my room mate. This wine is a few days old and starting to show some signs of oxidation, but definitely still has some life left. Black pepper and dirt on the nose. You definitely get the black pepper on the palate as well, but with some nice red fruit that isn't overly ripe. A wine that's got enough body and tannic structure to pair well with meat and cheese, but is also perfectly fine on its own. He says it was $10, which means this is a killer bargain wine.
