Evolves from fruit/acid on the first taste after opening to tannin-heavy on the last few glasses

May 22nd, 2020Fun nose, a forest and fruit mix. Color looks like Syrah blend (which it is!). Interesting and surprisingly complex. Lots of cab franc funkiness and herbal/greens. Red fruit but not super sweet. Subtle tannin could’ve been stronger tbh. Still enough structure with med acidity. Highly recommended for an inexpensive change of pace if you’re an old world regular like I tend to be w reds.
