I haven’t had a Carmenere in a while and this was a great reminder why I enjoy them. Medium bodied, moderate acidity and higher tannins. Flavors of blackberries and currants, with herbal aromas of briar and a fairly tannic finish. The tannins smooth out perfectly with grilled steak or sausage. Took me back to eating parrilladas in Chile!
